Capabilities
Manufacturing capabilities
What we synthesise, how material is purified and presented, which analyses are referenced before a record is published, and what a batch documentation package contains.

- Compounds in the current record
From synthesis to a published record
Four stages. Each stage records its own specification fields per batch in the production record.
Stage 01
Peptide synthesis
Compounds are synthesised to a defined specification. Route selection, scale and purity specification are recorded per batch in the production record.
Stage 02
Purification and isolation
Crude material is purified and isolated before analysis. Method, gradient and yield are recorded for each batch.
Stage 03
Presentation and fill
Finished material is presented as a single-use research pen in rigid packaging. Fill quantity and tolerance are recorded per batch.

Stage 04
Analytical release
Each batch is analysed before its record is published. Methods applied to a given batch appear on the certificate for that batch, not as a general claim.
Further specification fields — scale, purity range and fill tolerance — are published per batch on the record for that batch.
Analytical methods referenced in release testing
Methods applied to a specific batch appear on the certificate for that batch. This list describes the panel referenced, not a result.
| HPLC / UPLC | Chromatographic purity and related substances. |
|---|---|
| Mass spectrometry (MS) | Identity confirmation by molecular mass. |
| Amino acid analysis (AAA) | Net peptide content. |
| Elemental analysis (CHN) | Alternative net-content determination. |
| Karl Fischer / loss on drying | Water content. |
| Ion chromatography | Counter-ion determination. |
| Endotoxin (LAL) | Bacterial endotoxin screening where specified. |
Batch documentation package
Documents that accompany a completed batch record. Each entry is published here once the corresponding document exists for a batch.
| Certificate of analysis | Results for the specific batch analysed. |
|---|---|
| Analytical data sheet | Method, instrument and release specification. |
| Batch identifier record | Ties documentation to a physical batch. |
| Storage and handling sheet | Laboratory handling information only. |
| TSE / BSE statement | On request, where applicable to inputs. |
Modification classes and compound records
The modification taxonomy sets out what can be changed chemically in a sequence. The compound record shows what has actually been produced and documented.
Avion Science manufactures peptide compounds for laboratory research use only. This website is informational: nothing is offered for sale, and nothing published here is medical advice, a dosing protocol or a claim of therapeutic effect.
